As the Lead Technical Recruiter, you will apply your knowledge, skills, and strategic thinking to develop, drive, and execute the staffing strategies including but not limited to: SWE (full stack, front end back end), Product (Analyst, Managers and UX), Data Science/Engineering and so much more. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Recruit for a variety of IT and technical roles, from entry to executive level; recruit for non-technical roles assigned as needed to support changing business needs
- Identify, support and implement sourcing and marketing strategies using various recruiting and social media platforms, job boards and other sources to attract and secure qualified candidates
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure positions are filled with quality candidates in a seamless manner
- Plan and facilitate regular business partner meetings to provide updates on open positions and develop strategies to attract and secure talent
- Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers at all levels
- Actively source and ensure a diverse slate of candidates are presented for all levels
- Manage and/or lead projects and initiatives as assigned by the Talent Acquisition leadership team; support other team members as needed
- Perform related administrative work and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of recruiting processes
- Represent and participate in professional and college recruitment events to foster strong relationships and fill open positions
- Effectively partner with members of the immediate and broad Talent Acquisition group to ensure success of the entire team
- Consistently demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and the self-motivation to do whatever it takes to achieve success for the team in a quality, professional manner while maintaining upstanding integrity and work ethics
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 4 years of progressively responsible experience in HR, specifically in employment, recruiting, EEO and compliance
- Experience with Microsoft Office
It'd be great if you also have:
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience with IT recruiting
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing advanced external sourcing techniques with various social media platforms, job boards and other sources
- Confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business leaders; ability to maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a high-volume environment with competing demands
- Solutions oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
- A clear understanding that the full team's success is a shared responsibility; solid ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse team to achieve success
